Community involvement

Find out how ViiV Healthcare is supporting communities in Canada affected by HIV/AIDS.

Focusing exclusively on HIV/AIDS, ViiV Healthcare is devoted to the research, development and production of HIV medicines. However, another important aspect of our mission is to support HIV/AIDS communities.

We support the Canadian HIV community through three programs:

In line with ViiV Healthcare’s global focus on under-served HIV+ populations, this multi-year program supports the community-based response to the epidemic.

The 2017 Positive Action Canada Indigenous HIV/AIDS Initiative Fifth Call for Proposals is focused on HIV prevention education for Indigenous men, women, and youth in Canada; an emphasis targeting Indigenous youth is encouraged. To learn more about the 2017 Program, click here.
